Hello fellow SCW lovers. I'm thinking about hosting an 8 person (willing to make it 16 if enough gosu's are interested) tournament starting Nov27th. Ill put $100 Canadian for the prize pool (also if anyone wants to donate I'll add it directly to the prize pool).

Winner of tournament will not only receive over 100$, but the opportunity to faceoff for more $$ vs the legendary Brain.
I'll be casting all the games, I really enjoyed casting the last tournament and think it's much more exciting than just random series casts.

Why dont you make a second bracket consisting of players considered to be the best or past league winners but did not participate during the current season.Its just an idea im throwing out there.

Why dont you make a second bracket consisting of players considered to be the best or past league winners but did not participate during the current season.Its just an idea im throwing out there.
if any past season winners/super gosu's want to join who arent listed, ill get them in. Im down for a 16 person tournament.

Why dont you make it 2 brackets 1 bracket with current league leaders and second one with past winners and invited players?Winners of each bracket meets in the finals.

Ah yes, I have missed a lot of gosus. I sent a PM to some of those guys, we'll see who responds before inviting more as I don't want more than 16. Do you got gosu Photoshop skills to make sexy brackets ?

I dont haha but I do have a good understanding of each gamers play style and who should play who from the start so we don't have elimination of gamers that should make it to the semi finals lose out on round 1.

brain replied he doesn't like tournament, takes too much time and too hard with different time zones. but he said he would play in a bo9 series for $$. so maybe winner of this tournament vs brain ? crowd fund some $$ to get a brain series

We all know turnaments take ages to finish , cuz people have not same hours and days to play each other. I think if you invite all battlenet good players , we could wait 2022 to finish it . Moreover it seems Koreans who play 10 hours per days are little unbalanced for the rest of the players. But i will respect your choise tonyg

I dont mind if it goes into the new year since the holidays can be busy for people. I also dont mind if the games are played on your own time (as long as players are saving every replay and sending them to me). I dont have to be there to stream every series, ill cast the replays like last tournament.
And if anyone can beat the OP koreans its you guys!

i can also throw in $40 cad. that would bring the current potential prize to ~$300 cad including the people quoted and tony's initial $100 cad. we should do something like 70/30 or 60/40 split for tournament and match vs brain?

Yes I agree. The last TWO tournament of titans finals were ruined, it would be a bad look if it happened 3x in a row.

I was thinking split with greater portion towards tournament winner and lesser to winner of match vs brain but the option you mentioned is good too. Gunner and Newbport also mentioned they'd be willing to donate. That would make the total prize ~$300.

I am predicting GoldSCV For lower bracket. Can't decide between Scan or Falcon for upper bracket. Scan's got any micro centered game in his advantage.

He's been playing a bunch ye. He's smartened up his play and is scarier than ever. He did have a couple short breaks though. But I put him above J.H for sure.

I predict 2 upsets on the top brackets, 1 upset on the bottom. First round will have 1 upset from each side, and 2nd round will have 1 on top.
