Welcome to the Grand Tournament of SCW Season 28, which will be will be held next year starting on January 3 2022. (If the participants can play earlier, better).
The tournament will consist of 3 groups of 3 players for which the top 9 players of the season are qualified. If any of the top 9 does not want to participate I will ask the 10th, the 11th, and so on until all slots are filled.
All qualified players must be very vigilant on the forum and constantly post if not, they are eliminated. The host of tournament will be strict.
The tournament begins in this way: the top 3 of the ladder will choose their rivals.
The 1st place chooses his 1st rival (out of the players ranked #4 or lower) then the 2nd place chooses his 1st rival and the 3rd place his 1st rival, then the 1st place chooses again but his 2nd rival, the 2nd place chooses his 2nd rival and the 3rd place chooses his 2nd rival.
When the 3 groups of 3 players are formed, bo7 rvsr will play each other and only one player will qualify of each group for the Grand Final, which will be a single group of 3 players who will play each other bo9 rvsr and the winner of the group will be the champion of scw league 28.
In the event of a triple tie, the one with the best win ratio will win the group. And if the win ratio is also the same for the 3 players then the best ranked in the league will win the group, that is, the top 1,2 or 3.
The use of double accounts in the tournament is allowed; if one player has two accounts in the same group, he shall decide the result between them, for example, taeng says that the account taeng k wins 4-2 vs dogtrol or vice versa and then taeng and dogtrol play with the other rival and only qualify one.
The main map that games in the tournament must be played is SCW 28 - Space, but games can also be played, if both rivals agree, on these maps: SCW 28 - Space Perfect, SCW 28 - Space 1.0, SCW 28 - Space 2.0 and SCW 28 - Space 3.0.
The prize pool will be distributed as follows:

Disconnects will be taken as a loss unless you have a clear advantage.

The agreed duels should be punctual, or players will be eliminated. Waiting time only 15 minutes only 2 chances
The winner must report in the forum, when the topic is opened, their victories and defeats immediately when their bo7 ends.
Remember very well that dodgers will not be tolerated; if you are going to avoid playing, please refrain from participating in the tournament and give the opportunity to another player.
The most common time to carry out your matches will be 6pm to 2am EST.

Also using peoples names that wasn’t even playing the game he was casting then bming them was extreamly distasteful and just go’s to show his true character. Or lack of… just my opinion though. I got about 29 seconds in before I realized it was not improving from 360P quality. If he wants people to watch his casts, he needs to have bettter video quality. I just downloaded the replays to watch instead.

him and Jose clearly hack. Have for years. Been saying it for years. Just look at when Defjam caught Jose hacking in Vgt. He was tagged then untagged after so long then came back and started getting even to losing records against everyone without his hacks. He then quits sc for a bit then comes back and plays exactly the same as he did in vgt when he was hacking with records like 40-10 instead of the 30-30 ones he was getting right after his untagging.. look at him when ugl came out with anti hack… he wasn’t even a top gamer. Then boom… after anti hack he plays good?? It’s pretty clear. Same with dingo.. how many times tagged in vgt?? Pretty clear just by the builds and strats that they both hack. But they will never get tagged so why bother even saying anything. Same with cheats like Kokanee. Everyone cheats now anyhow. It is because it is Sleeping time for Rabbit. It is way past midnight in Korea. You guys are expecting the Koreans to do all the adapting to play past midnight at 1AM or 5AM, instead of putting some effort into to meet halfway and play at a time that isn't impossible for the koreans to play at. So far there has been absolutely zero effort by ANYONE to play at times that are viable. Honestly, HOST has to FIND times that aren't impossible for BOTH participants in a set. SCW players will NEVER compromise and play at difficult times as it is now.
For context, at the time of your post it was already past 3:26AM. Now it is 4:14AM. Impossible to play at those times.
Find times inbetween. Evening for Rabbit, Byul or Scan is Morning and almost Afternoon for Peru or American players. That means that in the weekend, it SHOULD BE POSSIBLE for American players to play vs the Korean players WITHOUT forcing ANYONE to play at impossible times.

Because people don't have to play all games at the same time. Spreading games out is a good idea if that allows participants to play their set. It requires less free time in one sitting.

The most common time to carry out your matches will be 6pm to 2am EST.
Jose, the rules are clear, you don't keep to the schedule but too I've seen you play at night as well as scan I've seen him play in Jose's time slot last season. Officially The duels of the tournament are at night.

I made a comment in page 15 before you made this comment. I spent 2 weeks to arrange time with this west users, but they don't want to coordinate and they want to play on their time zone when Korean people are sleeping.
I have my stream schedules, ASL qualifiers, ASL live commentary pre-arrange meetings, and StarCastTV video.
Saying something like I played on their timezone in the past doesn't mean I can do it now or even in the future.

It is more clear after game one, but what I'm talking about is all the popping/crackling from your S and T and P sounds. I use studio monitors (for recording music), so maybe it's more pronounced on my speakers. But a decent microphone + pop filter would go a long way in terms of quality.

This tournament is currently falling just short of being a complete failure. The fault does not fall solely on the players, the tournament hosts have to take on responsibility for this tournament failing as well.
How do you expect donations for league prizes to continue each season if a proper tournament cannot be orchestrated in a timely fashion?

There's no excuse for the tournament to have gone on like this and hosts/admins not stepped in to do what's necessary to ensure that the tournament runs as smoothly as possible.
The least we can hopefully expect is that league and tournament admins can take this tournament and learn from it and put together something better next season.
