I mean im literally logging on b.net purely to play with my old time partner. We met on sc like 15 years ago, met in real life afterward since we're 2hours drive away and etc. I believe most ppl play 2s to play with their friends, its just logical.

You could host a lower tier players tournament yourself and share it around the forums/channels

Give out a prize pool for games played to give the 'noob' members something to strive for each season when the 1st place rank is out of reach. Say 5$/100 games played. 10$/50 wins. etc These players are the ones who keep the league alive, providing games for new players when they enter the channel.
This is all assuming you have prize money to spread around.

I mean, a better looking site will obviously only be positive, theres no argument here. Not saying its a must have, but saying it won't do anything is stupid. I am a freelance graphic designer, I could help a bit for a low cost, if the demand is there.

I disagree about needing to change partners every games, people should definitely be able to partner with whoever they want. But I do ABSOLUTELY agree on the mirrors match up for fair games. PZ vs PZ, PT vs PT, hell why not TZ vs TZ? These were my BEST GAMES EVER. Totally fair, also. Please make this a thing

Nice prize pool, should definitely spread it to top 3 and some in 2v2 aswell, would encorage more players to play. Big top heavy prize pool is never optimal, except for the one player that take it all of course.. but thats no fun.
also, yes, I am always interesting in trying new small tweaks to improve the balance of the spawns / maps. 2.0 was a nice step forward imo, but theres room for more improvement. I don't see why a corners only map wouldnt work to be honest.
Also, massive lol at that P picker dude raging in the last pages. Protoss is obviously overpowered on fastest, i think he forgot Blizzard didnt take this map into account when balancing the races...

Yeah this was a thing 10+ years ago on SCD from what I remember. Don't take people too seriously, and almost everyone dodges by the way lol. Funny how I can spam 2s any2 scw? for 15+ minutes in channel without any reply, but then when I finally get a game, suddenly 6 people join to obs. Every single times. What were you guys doing for the past 15 minutes ahah?

I've seen a few people on this thread suggesting watching vods & streams, which is obviously a great way to learn indeed. So taking the opportunity to share my channel (fairly recent, started past fall) where I upload various SCW games and I even started casting games from replays (actually just one atm which I did earlier today). We left before 2 mins because lag was awful and obs didnt want to leave, yet other team reported game... Not sure about the rules on this but this is sketchy.
Edit: Lol and both players told me "didnt want to report, its my part"..... obviously one of them is lying but either way, this game should be remove. Thanks!

I reported my 3 games I just played ( went 2-1 ) but it gave me 3 wins. I just assumed the system would recognize my lost, my bad. He reported it on his side too and got the win so this match id just needs to be removed. Thanks

Agreed, it's kinda alright when theres questions related to Starcraft.. but most of the times its completely random shit. Takes place for absolutely no reason as it is.
