Why is SC1 so boring nowadays? All the best players play under the same tag and fuck everyone else sideways. Many top pros are smurfs.... what the hell happened?

So.... I just returned to gaming PC status after a 4 year hiatus with only a crap laptop that i would only pub game on MAYBE 1x / month.
I'm curious about the current state of hacking, are there hacks currently in this game? Are there anti-hacks that can combat those hacks? Is it possible that our league contestants are getting away with hacking in this league?
IF SO: Does this league have any "hacker police" to at least ignite a 'somewhat serious' discussion about anti-hacking?
Representing [SCD] - but I've recently came to the conclusion that most of the OG's are smurfing/under 'new established identities'.
Would be WAY cooler if ya'll would just say who tf you are. Everyone, (even 95% pubs) are decent now-days. Drop your ego, who fucking cares if you're "rusty," at a game that has been around for over 20 years....
