Lol just go watch a chosen video you will see how non “magical” the games are from back then. But like I said they could’ve adapted and evolved of course but thatss not the case.. if marine was getting those crazy records in VGT then i doubt brain would have had more losses back then. Brain is on another level yes that’s why I said he shouldn’t even be in the discussion.. not sure why he keeps getting brought up lol especially since his success has literally been 2 seasons not 50 seasons.

Tbh old school SC shouldn’t even be compared to new school. the average skill level has increased dramatically. Damn near everyone nowadays can easily stop a P mid build and I remember back then when T would do 3 fact pushes but we changed in to two factories and it’s been way more affective.. everyone is quicker when it comes to getting guards too. I remember back then a Zerg would get fast guardians but only have like 4 hatches total but we manage to get guards at the same time while having like 6 hatches (better economy)
I personally saw hella old replays of myself and saw how trash I was back then. I was watching some of Chosen’s videos and really it’s nothing special compared to today’s game. yeah I believe if they kept playing they would’ve obviously adjusted and gotten better.. but there’s been old school players who have came back and have NOT won a single season.. and usually do NOT replicate the records they used to back in VGT when the skill level was lower imo
So about best of all time I mean we can say hydra and marine and them but if you watch their games and watch games today.. it’s evident this era is way more advanced... it’s literally undeniable.
All I know is I’m the only one who can play both 1s and 2s.. and brain//rabbit shouldn’t really be in the discussion.. and no marine is not even close to better than them lol

I’ve won a few seasons you’ve played in.. and about hari.. you were like A- when I was S AND that whole season you dodged me until I was a higher rank than you so I didn’t wanna play you since you ducked me the whole season lol.
Lol this thing about cheating that was like 6 yrs ago and never happened.. bang was jealous cause I was like 20-0 that season and like 15 wins were on him so he said he cheated for me.
To me you’re not that good.. youve DODGE wayyyyy too many times to be considered the best.. you only massed games vs Gus and gravedigga and this is factual.
You’ve NEVER had a season where you played 50+ games with either me or rabbit jake dinko or kon..
You noob bash till you’re 35-0 then sit up top and pick and choose your games.. in total we’ve probably played like 15x meanwhile I’ve played jake and rabbit at least 200x

Dryfly has dodged me to the point were I’m begging for him to play me and he played Gus instead.. and he has never played rabbit 50x in a season as I have a few times. He won’t play matt if he picks p to which me rabbit or jake don’t mind if he picks P and would mass games vs him

Id prefer not to cause if both players are corner that’s an instant 30 min + game no matter the match up. And mid base is still winnable.. it’s not like it’s an automatic loss if you’re mid. I think adjusting the points would be best thing to try out.. but idk if its possible to even do that lol

But we kind of already do this anyways.. in this system we won’t have the same top 5 players every season.. it’s a level playing field for everybody. I doubt it would happen though but we should make is so Mid Z earns more points and Protoss wins vs Mid z or mid t earn less points .

Agreed adi... I don’t mind bm but really would’ve liked more people to give their input. Lots of people complain about the league but never speak up. And there’s a lot of people with brighter ideas than myself.
But I don’t regret making this thread because it’s rare a thread even gets to its 4th page so I might consider making more just to make some noise on certain issues.
Momo would be a decent admin. But at the end of the day I think SworD should be the only one to make the calls.. but it would be much easier for him to make decisions when there’s 2-3 admins presenting stuff to him.
People don't give their input cause people who aren't top 10 in league get told to stfu / stop crying because their opinions are worthless . I've said over three times I'd love to help on other forums as ReM Mays . But it's up to sword , none of us .
This is a fantastic thread and a very good example of what should be happening more often, the community working together on a topic and talking things out rather than verbally destroying one another haha
I think the tournament Idea is sweet . And for league points? Even better .. I assume all games would be league games too. I think this is something that could really really work well
Thanks for your response.. I personally like hearing anyone’s input no matter who it is.. I would never tell any one to stfu and there’s very few people who would. So I’d just like to say anyone’s ideas are welcomed. But I also know where you’re coming from. How do you feel about tiers? Are you more likely to play “top players” knowing that you will win more and lose less points? And yeah tournaments would be pretty cool except no ones signs up for them. BaO just posted a 32-man 1v1 tourney paying 1st-4th and somehow we can’t get 32 players to sign up? This is clearly disappointing as we all know there’s at least 40 of us but for some reason no one wants for play for free money... it doesn’t make sense when there’s people complaining about activity but won’t do anything about it lol hopefully this is a start.
