Suggestions & Feedback / New Idea

So I watch on the regular a twitch/youtuber for mortal kombat 11 and soon to be mortal kombat 1. His channel is called "R1Ps_Arena" he has been streaming mk11 tournaments for 3 or 4 years now with total donation payouts upwards of 60k. He does a 5 week tournament to which you sign up via discord and either play your matches on stream(randomized generator) or off stream and report in channel to mods. This could be a fun way of reinventing point systems.
The thing is he created a true interactive tournament base, now I get the intellectual part of our game here and how it by standard cannot get as hype.... or maybe?
Point im making here is we want to revive this game, but not many players have a reason to either come back or make an effort. activity has increased but I doubt it will stay that way and Money cant be the only reason.
I propose to the streamers in our community - RJB, TonyG, JoeyCastyCasts that we come together and create mini in season tournaments with live casting and actual HYPE. This means working on overlays, creating a fun environment for veiwers to engage in. I'm not criticising anyone, you have all helped and I want to see your talents to continue to help what we all love.
Please look into R1ps_arena on twitch or on youtube and get a feel for what I'm describing here. He truly built something exciting around a dying game that is being brought into the new gen game this septemeber for Mortal Kombat and I can only imagine with the minds here on this site WE could definitely create a fun environment for us oldies and even for the new or undiscovered players
Also can we get rid of the 90s style page layout? We could get such a better User Interface (not ungrateful but was wondering where the talk of the revamp went?)
