3-2 vs Rubichan, Gg's

Please undertand the idea for more fair. if a player take 2 times zerg mid spot  and lose all , he will can have a option for 3th game  if pick but only once one time. or go random, after next games will play random  vs random until finish bo5. The condition for loser player is 0-2, if the score is 1-2 he cant play pvsp  so all games will be random vs random.

Im sure that all player will play all the bo5 random, dont worry!!!

Ohhh ok, i understand. I didn't quite understand the original message. That's cool.

Ehhh, I'm not a fan of being able to pick race. I think it should be R VS R for the whole tourney..

19
Sorry don't mean to sound like im bashing this effort and thanks for donations. I just don't want this to fall through because of no shows. Me and Fainer have agreed 12 players should be sufficient.

Alright, let's get this set up. I believe this will start tomorrow. Today is the last day for any of the invitees that want to donate any more and spice this baby up??? $10-20 bucks should be easy!

I don't want to step in too much but since I am donating $50 theres a couple players I wanted to get invited.

people I recommend so we can run atleast a 16 man tournament of the lesser people

I'm for all these people as well, but all they need to do is donate $10 to join.. Let's get more donations and spice this baby up.

21
This tournament is unrealistic. Highly difficult to coordinate sets with these many people and will drag out for months. You have a better shot hosting a one day tournament with people who actively show up. Might as well put your money back into SCW12

He has a solid point. I like the sounds of a weekend tournament, double elimination. $25 buy in, 12-16 ppl, would be sickkk.

22
Anyone who's willing to donate can play.. 20-25 bucks should be a fairly easy donation for anyone wanting in and for the ppl already in. Let's make this fun and interesting!

23
Should extend the term until Tuesday 21 may 11:59 pm? for the confirmation of the players and start the tournament..

Let's get this going ASAP. If no responses from these guys until later, get some alternatives.. Rage[gk] played 100 games I believe, Xp'chicken was willing to donate $. There's a lot others who seem interested

24
good tournament for b and c rank players. they need attention too. noobs

Lol, gotta love idiots like this, smh.. It's for the community and for fun. I'm sure any of these dudes could beat you. Just stfu and go win your tourney.

25
Another suggestion, the final guests that are confirmed, all pitch in $25 towards the pot? Would be cool if it was held like a poker tourney or something, $25 buy in for the tournament, 1-3 get paid? There should be more people willing to donate a few bucks..

26
I like this a lot and have donated $50 to it. Donations are welcome and appreciated, if you're able. Makes these tourneys a bit more fun and interesting, as well as bring the community closer. Thanks in advance!

Tournament bracket style at the end for the top 20-25 players. Put in certain rules, like a certain amount of games have to be played, have to face a certain rank so many times if you make that rank, etc..

Also, for the obs situation, I didn't even realize there was cheating going on w/ that, but I guess just no obs from now on, but I love obs'n a good game, lol. Not sure how else to fix that.

Hopefully Sword can get that going ASAP. Game already isn't as fun without it, lol.

oke, Quick question then for the people who care.
Single Elimination or Double elimination?

I've got brackets for both single and double elimination prepared.

I'd vote double, to be more fair, but if you're having problems with ppl playing the games then go single. I'd like to watch some of these as well, but I don't see many of these players on at all.

I'm sure its not a surprise at this point that I would say the season didn't exactly go the way everyone had hoped. We had good activity, yes, but one of the lessons I learned was that a ladder system and prize pool don't mix well. Players being disqualified is not something anyone likes to see. And there was a lot of other questionable activity from nearly everyone in the top 10. But I don't blame the players; they responded to the money incentive which was the intent. I'm sorry that I didn't organize this better and/or listen to the calls to require a tournament from the very beginning as some had suggested. The last tournament didn't go well and I foolishly thought that having one again would only complicate things, but it turns out that nothing could have been more wrong.

In any case, its time to move on. In the future, any seasons with prize money will be required to have a tournament in some format.

Xtre-X is the winner of SCW11 and has been paid $500.

There will be a bit of a break until the next season. I will need some time to reflect and think how to run things better.

I really enjoyed this season and hope we do not have a long break until the next SCW.. I've learned a ton from this season, with it being my first time really 1s'n and coming from x2.5.. Was a serious adjustment, but glad I made it, as it's made the game more fun and complex for me. I am willing to donate to future leagues, no matter what format is chosen. I am very glad I found this league, as I was very close to quitting the game. Thanks for everything, Sword. You did a very nice job and you a very appreciated.
