I think too that if the winner of the tournament decides not to show up for the finals brain should play the runner up or some thing like that. Would just hate to see a repeat scenario like the last tournament.
Yes I agree. The last TWO tournament of titans finals were ruined, it would be a bad look if it happened 3x in a row. I'll pitch in 25 usd for prize money on the games for this tournament
i can also throw in $40 cad. that would bring the current potential prize to ~$300 cad including the people quoted and tony's initial $100 cad. we should do something like 70/30 or 60/40 split for tournament and match vs brain?
That would bring the prize pool to $175 for this tournament. 70/30 split sounds good for 1st and 2nd. Unless we want to make a prize for 3rd place and have the two SEMI finalist play for that as well? With all these gosu's it could be a good match. Dont let the koreans be able to win the price money, they arent the ones who are keeping this league alive...
Ill donate to the next SCW season 1v1 prize pool too. Operation keep starcraft alive.

bo3 up until the game vs brain? please? lol
I was thinking bo3 for round 1, bo5 round 2/3, bo7 finals and bo9 vs brain. Nothing set in stone though until i get 16 confirmed players. We all know turnaments take ages to finish , cuz people have not same hours and days to play each other. I think if you invite all battlenet good players , we could wait 2022 to finish it . Moreover it seems Koreans who play 10 hours per days are little unbalanced for the rest of the players. But i will respect your choise tonyg
I dont mind if it goes into the new year since the holidays can be busy for people. I also dont mind if the games are played on your own time (as long as players are saving every replay and sending them to me). I dont have to be there to stream every series, ill cast the replays like last tournament. And if anyone can beat the OP koreans its you guys!

brain replied he doesn't like tournament, takes too much time and too hard with different time zones. but he said he would play in a bo9 series for $$. so maybe winner of this tournament vs brain ? crowd fund some $$ to get a brain series

I'm not a super gosu but I can hold my own on occasion. Add me if you want. Gus, hus, evil, kon, j.h, dinko, defjam, monte, eufiserv, day, hardy, jose, brain, tyga should all be invited. Lets make this tournament beast and add in prize money. Maybe double elimination to see some legendary matches between some gosus? I can help you out to make some brackets?
Ah yes, I have missed a lot of gosus. I sent a PM to some of those guys, we'll see who responds before inviting more as I don't want more than 16. Do you got gosu Photoshop skills to make sexy brackets ?
