Myrath is a nice progressive metal band from Tunesia. has a lot of sounds you wouldn't usually find in metal.

On a side note let's talk guitar tone?

Recommend some songs or bands with your 'favorite' or 'heaviest' guitar tone.

MANY come to mind. Entombed 'Left hand path" has one of the nicest guitar tones I have ever heard, beautiful.
