Due to some personal life events and in an attempt to revive the SC fastest community to what it once was, I've decided to fund a large prize pool. The format will be as follows:
1v1: those who played in the top 4 ladder slots will participate in a final tournament with the following format:
#1 vs (#2 vs (#3 vs #4))
(so, for example - winner between #3 and #4 will advance to the next round, and face whoever is #2 in the rankings. The loser of that match will be awarded $100, and the winner will face the #1 ladder slot to compete for the $1000, the loser of which will get $300)
2v2: because of the difficulty of arranging four players to all be online at the same time and play matches, there will be no tournament for 2v2, and instead the winners will be based on the ladder rankings. In order to offset the advantage from team stacking, dodging, or abuse, especially on the latest day of the season, the prize is intentionally distributed among many of the top ranks, so that everyone who participated and did well can get awarded.
