SCW season 6 will start on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 12:00 PM EST. For the 1v1 winner, there will be playoffs similar to last season's, but will be much bigger and include the top 8 players (with the players on top of the ladder having a proportionate headstart in the brackets as before). The prize pool right now for the winner is $520, if anyone is charitable enough to donate we can get this even higher.

The rules are the same as last seasons' playoffs:

All matches will be Random vs Random unless the players agree on a mirror match-up.

You take away the choice the actual games gives you. If blizzard didn’t want you to pick they would not give you the choice. At least low money people don’t cry like little bitches. Just took away about 350 games from me and invincible][oss. League won’t last much longer as it’s clearly getting worse and worse and poorly ran by you. Fucking gangsterjose won ffs haha laughable.

In the ASL Terran has had a higher winrate than either Zerg and Protoss. In order to combat what they determined to be an imbalance in the game, they specifically added maps to the map cycle for ASL 5 that put Terran at a disadvantage. Our choices to have the SCW playoffs be RvR, unless a mirror is agreed upon, is similar to this. We can't change the map so this is our only option of balancing the playoffs to be more fair. If you're not good enough at either Zerg or Terran it's your own fault for not improving your ability to play either race. We want the best player to win. Being a well rounded random player is part of that.

Also, Marine, Cole, Jon, Cheese and others won seasons with way better records than you while playing random. We've already discussed this in the past. Everybody has good Protoss records because Protoss is EXTREMELY overpowered on FMP. You're not special because you're able to do what so many other players are already doing. "Getting good Protoss records." How many seasons would you have won were you a random player?

Nobody is changing any rules for league games, this is only for the playoffs
