Over the years I’ve built a strong reputation in Brood War and spent countless nights on Discord with players like Ronin and Reeko. I tolerated a lot from Ronin for a long time, but after my accident I’ve had no patience for people who bring negativity into my life, and eventually Reeko started doing the same. The nonstop toxicity from those two is the main reason this league is dying and why so many players no longer care to come back. There’s a reason why the Koreans don’t play in SCW—because the negativity pushes people away before they even want to get involved. Even Scan mentioned that he stopped playing in SCW because the community had become too toxic. My decision to quit and have my account deleted is directly because of that constant toxicity and the fact that nobody seems willing to step in and deal with it. This isn’t about disrespecting the owner—I still appreciate him—but about the environment the league has allowed to grow. Lucas was the one admin who consistently tried to make a difference, but with limited support even he became less active. Now the site is flooded with toxic posts that sit there for weeks or months, and it’s simply not a place I want to be part of anymore. With that said, this is my farewell—thanks to everyone who shared good games and good moments along the way.
