« on: August 29, 2026, 06:34:58 pm »I genuinely don’t understand why playing on a fair and balanced map hasn’t become mandatory, and why this league continues to use the same map over and over again.
We have all just witnessed that, no matter how skilled a player or team is, this map can create situations where certain games are practically impossible to win. At that point, the outcome is influenced far too much by the map rather than by skill, strategy, and performance.
I would personally be more than happy to contribute financially on a monthly basis to support the league, but I would like to see meaningful changes regarding the map and the rules. If those changes are made and the competition becomes fairer and better organized, I will gladly contribute every month.

it is a valid critique regardless of one's contribution. The map is imbalanced. That is objectively a truth. There are numerous players who decide against contributing because the map used is imbalanced, and because most of the community in SCW is extremely toxic. You enter the website and walk into a cesspool of toxicity. This league is one of the least inviting leagues in existence across almost all games across the entire board of games played competitively in the world.
Now to counter argue against my own comments, if someone cared enough about the map and the toxicity they could organize another league on their preferred map. This league does not have to change and is within its right to remain as it is. We can't demand for it to change if it functions as it is. Can things improve? certainly. Does it have to? no. Is it in the best interest of the league to not implement any changes(doesn't have to be map related)? you decide, and time will tell.
Also a lot of koreans who are legitimately good on USWEST stick to public noob bashing games because they don't have the balls to play competitively. You'll never get these to join.
You spoke like a gentleman, and I agree with you. However, I also believe that there could be some major changes in this league.
Out of curiosity, is the league for sale? If it is, please put the offer on the table. I’d be interested to hear it.
