Hardcore switch to korean super map??

So, to avoid confusion, i am only trying to gather information on this matter, i enjoy the league as it is aswell.

SCW korea beta seasons

Some people did show up. We barely had any advertising and most public players who have the skills didn't know about it at the time or were entirely inactive. Currently we have access to more channels of advertisement through Burgersasu, Rabbit, Byul, WK` clan on uswest. We could even contact By_ clan, `K clan and Top on Korea to poll whether there is currently an interest in a dedicated 1:1 League on the korean map.

Burgersasu hosted on Korea map for the first few games he played SCW this season and some asked him to switch the map, which he did.

And Kokanee, I care so little about your existence I won't bother spending more time on you than writing this once sentence addressed at you.

You guys are thinking of a hand full of Koreans versus a whole entire league. There’s a lot of people that wouldn’t play SCW at ALL if it switched to Korean map.

But seriously we need to stop begging Koreans to join our league. I don’t get the obsession… it’s a misrepresentation of the league. We don’t need Koreans.
& anyway hydra beat gom in a finals already. So westerners have proven themselves time & time again. There’s nothing more to prove.

Maybe have two separate point league systems. One on SCW West Map and one on Korean Map. I think it'd be cool to see Koreas playing in a league with a point system to see who is the best Korean player.

And also, if a western wanted to play on Korea map, they could and vis versa.

Was pretty dope seeing Western vs Koreans on 2s.

*Want to give props to Vulture vs Gom in that PvT. Just casted it and you're P looked beastly!!

Personally I consider that is not a bad idea to just test for ONE season ONLY korean map for 1s and 2s league.
We are really few guys still playing scw. I think just one season with korean map as a trial won't contribute to our retirement..
Also if we're not forced to use only korean map, we'll never transition to that map.
In addition i've heard many times on youtube and facebook streams that west fastest map is just unbalanced and because of that many good players don't give it a try to start playing fastest map games...

Giving Korean scw another beta run seems like a good idea. There's no point to hardcore switching when most people currently active are completely content with playing the current map.

Interesting to read all of your comments,  so the thing is that i couldnt help myself but wonder how it would be to propose this and see how the Community react. 
I enjoy this game and this League,  that being said i also see 20000+ koreans on their server en too many players on us/europe/asia (5000?) who enjoy fastest (korean) map.   
Im just giving it a try to bring some of that together .

that's why I suggested and agreed to try a separate korean league beta 2.0 instead of a forced switch? Ok.

yeah its true the option is available for a long time already to use korean map, but nobody does it.
the thought behind hardcore switching was like Ryu also stated, we will never transition out of it, and thats fine ofcourse i just think it would be more fun if all fastest players play 1 (balanced)map.

Attract more people to this league can mean more donations, better game play etc etc.
anyways thank you all for thinking along and hopefully the starcraftworld can get a little bit bigger

A really good player can fight spot abuse and plans for it

Does not take away the fact it is unbalanced. Win% is massively skewered in favor of spot abusers, including cases where the other player is better or close in skill.
