Patch 1.21.0
« on: December 07, 2017, 08:47:12 pm »
Patch 1.21.0 has introduced a new replay format. Until this new file format is reverse engineered, no replays will be uploadable. The time for this is unknown; it could be anywhere from an hour to weeks or months.

Since the season is set to end in 3 days, I'll add manually any games that are played until then. Please attach them to this post. There might be considerable delay in me adding the replays, but they will all be accounted for before winners are declared.

I've figured out most of it. Uploading works as normal again, but APM won't be accurate :( I intend to have this figured out by next season

As a second surprise, it turns out that blizzard really screwed us over this time. Old replays are corrupted now. They load but within 10m, they become corrupted... :( the status of watching new replays with the new patch is unknown..

JK, looks like they already responded to your post on the official forums - they said they believe they have a fix and are going  to hotfix asap.

In brighter news, it looks like the max map limit ("Cannot create more units") has been increased significantly

Nice. THey said a while back in a developer update that they were going to fix that, but I didnt recall seeing any official patch notes on it.

Update: the remainder of the differences in the new replay format have been figured out. APMs have been corrected and will be now reflected accurately
