Hey guys! I haven't played in quite a few seasons but I do visit SCW A LOT.

After a few talks with SworD.. we decided that we need to take the next step forward with our community and begin hosting tournaments more often.

We will be hosting a tournament on Friday May 25, 2018. @ 7PM ET. (Time can be changed if enough requests come in)

We will be giving the Champion of this tournament 100$!

We need people that are willing to participate. All games can be played on SCW and so with that being said you won't be taking time away from your ladder grind. You can earn points while participating in a free entry tourny!

The best news about all of this.. is that these kind of tournaments will be a lot more frequent IF this one goes well. I'm hoping to have a 16 man bracket.. come on guys I know we can get 16+ people to play!!

If this one goes well.. we will be hosting maybe two tournaments a week and although the payout might not be as much.. regardless it will bring excitement and activity to our league!
Also if those small tournaments are successful then we may be looking to make 100$ tournaments on SCW a monthly thing.

We've also discussed potentially giving Ladder Points to participants who end up in the Top 3. Nothing too drastic... but surely it would be worth participating.

If Brackets fill up before start time; we might even allow players to begin playing their games before Friday. What this would do is allow players in different time zones to get their games in.

Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed. Again the current set time can be changed if a lot of players would like to see it hosted earlier or even later.
