Sword has his reasons, which I don't know, and I'll respect them.
In past tournaments the same individuals would stall out by refusing to show up.

Then just auto-disqualify them and ban them for next season. Problem solved.

an entire season ban might be too harsh, but an auto DQ and a forfeiting of any prize money I think would be motivation enough to get their games in.

ye, forfeiture of prize money and DQ is a great counter measure. Got second place in tourney? Dodging so you don't have to lose because you already won money? no problem. no money!

Maybe we also come up with a special color titling. Like donors get green, winners get gold, admins get red. Maybe sub-two-minute disc reporters, dano, and people who dodge in the tournaments get pink for pussy.

If it were up to me I would set it up this way. Not only is it worth mentioning you won the season at that point but it also entertains the starcraft fans.
