I genuinely don’t understand why playing on a fair and balanced map hasn’t become mandatory, and why this league continues to use the same map over and over again.
We have all just witnessed that, no matter how skilled a player or team is, this map can create situations where certain games are practically impossible to win. At that point, the outcome is influenced far too much by the map rather than by skill, strategy, and performance.
I would personally be more than happy to contribute financially on a monthly basis to support the league, but I would like to see meaningful changes regarding the map and the rules. If those changes are made and the competition becomes fairer and better organized, I will gladly contribute every month.

it is a valid critique regardless of one's contribution. The map is imbalanced. That is objectively a truth. There are numerous players who decide against contributing because the map used is imbalanced, and because most of the community in SCW is extremely toxic. You enter the website and walk into a cesspool of toxicity. This league is one of the least inviting leagues in existence across almost all games across the entire board of games played competitively in the world.

Now to counter argue against my own comments, if someone cared enough about the map and the toxicity they could organize another league on their preferred map. This league does not have to change and is within its right to remain as it is. We can't demand for it to change if it functions as it is. Can things improve? certainly. Does it have to? no. Is it in the best interest of the league to not implement any changes(doesn't have to be map related)? you decide, and time will tell.

Also a lot of koreans who are legitimately good on USWEST stick to public noob bashing games because they don't have the balls to play competitively. You'll never get these to join.

You spoke like a gentleman, and I agree with you. However, I also believe that there could be some major changes in this league.

Out of curiosity, is the league for sale? If it is, please put the offer on the table. I’d be interested to hear it.

Go back to casting korean games premier. you left this community a while back, you can enjoy your korean games.

its remarkable we are almost all 40 years old and still act like this. turn around and raise children and have wives. Is this all the game is going to be is not using the brain we developed over the years and instead staying in the time capsule acting like we are all still kids?

what shame that every time someone opens their mouth there has to be someone there to belittle or berate you.

its a wonder why koreans demand being respectful. In chess if any of us acted this way we would lose the title no discusion. Why a game that requires higher brain involvment and strategies that have to be quickly implemented that it takes so long for us to come to the conclusion that using your emotions to relay your thoughts is no where near as powerful as simply using your head and explaining yourself like the grown person you are.

Honestly at this point will be a welcomed point in time when this site goes down due to too much toxicity. People come on to play the game and enjoy a break from life, not to be bullied, belittled and ragebaited for the sake of a small laugh or just because.

I wish this community would grow up as a whole. Stop telling people just to leave cause you think differently. If people leave because the map changes then those are the people that rely on having the imbalance in order to win. I dont like the idea of learning the korean map but i would much rather that than the 30% of games I auto lose because i cant survive a simple drop i couldnt see coming.

Point of the game is to figure out how the best is and have fun doing it. Are you telling me you all would rather keep losing on a map that create the imbalance even at the highest level just because it may require you to put in a little more work? Its the same map just placed differently but although has its own issues creates a much clearer and easier way to tell who the best is.

Let the normal people now who are negative jump on this post because its inevitable and doubtful that only the few will respond without hostility

The issue is, we tired this.  No one plays the map in this league, everyone likes the original.  Idk about this season but I know of a few seasons that ppl can choose to play different maps if they want and they don’t.

A lot of the complaints come from ppl that only observe.

 Not to mention the Korean map his it’s imbalanced things 2. Giving advantages to Protoss for early drops/ mineral harassment.

Regardless of all this and what maP is better, the community still chooses to play scw over Korean, probably because it’s what we all know and grown up on.

Sc wasn’t made for fastest, Zerg in 2s is extremely broken on whatever map and at high lvl is almost an auto loss. 

With brain complaining, I feel like it was more an excuse because he got beat by Byul but they ran non scw 1s during the season for money and Byul beat brain Terran vs brains toss.  Unfortunately I think gom is just better regardless of the map or advantage.  Him blaming scw is a joke and extremely childish. “I won’t play anymore till things change”. Then pick toss, ask to play on Korean map.

The truth is scw has made changes but the players choose not to change
